  • 9am - Dedication Worship Service

    • Featuring Central’s instrumental and vocal choirs, including the performance of an original composition by Erik Texter, “Dear Lord a Precious Gift we Bring.”

      • The piece incorporates texts written by Pastor L.S. Hoffman for the original dedication of our church building in 1952.

      • Erik’s music remembers the original dedication through the texts, rebuilds those texts using other hymn tunes and new musical material, and offers the church a new anthem that calls us to “renew our inner selves.”

    • Guest speaker Johnny Pons

      • Founder of Glocal Resources, an organization based in Nashville which equips young adults to live, love and launch well, both locally and globally.

      • Johnny served as a campus minister at Penn State University for 28 years where many of Central’s youth were connected, and where he established the international outreach programs that he continues to pursue today
